Central European Political Studies Review
The on-line peer-reviewed quarterly "Central European Political Studies Review" (Středoevropské politické studie) is the project of the International Institute for Political Studies of Masaryk University in Brno. It is focused on the modern politics in Europe, while its Central European dimension expresses the specific experience of the founders with the phenomenon of politics and its scholarly reflection. The collocation Central European therefore does not refer to the content, but indicates the authors` perspective. The methodology of this political scientist periodical with the interdisciplinary interference lies within the framework of the empirical-analytical paradigm. The texts from the comparative politics, European studies, foreign and security policy are welcomed. The structure of the periodical includes the partial studies, scholarly essays, short comments and the book reviews. The papers pass through the anonymous default review procedure.
